The Society of Composers, Inc., hosts several regional conferences and a national conference each year. Members are invited to submit compositions, paper presentations, sound installations, or panel discussions for any conference, regardless of its location or region, dependent on the performance or other limitations as set forth in the individual calls for scores.

Composers are usually required to attend conferences at which their compositions are performed.

The Region VI conference will be held in the beautiful metro area of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  Hosted by Oklahoma City University's esteemed Wanda L. Bass School of Music, the conference will take place over the last weekend of February.
