Tim Holt
Hometown: Edmond, OK
Date of birth: 12/2/1987
Tim Holt has been a drummer since the age of 9 and a songwriter since 6th grade. He has been in several local bands with styles ranging from pop, funk/progressive rock, punk, ska, and cabaret rock 'n' roll playing all around Oklahoma City, Norman, and Tulsa. His first CD, released independently and free to anyone who wants a copy, was produced over the summer of 2005 and recorded in the Norman studio of Paige Harwell and in Tim's home; the songs display a fondness for the lyrically obtuse and musically diverse. Tim also co-writes songs with Richard Dobie, and has since freshman year in high school, along with recording and playing in their band The Rudeboys.
Tim's major influences include Tom Waits, David Bowie, Zbigniew Preisner, Chopin, and Marcel Proust. He intends on making a career out of doing whatever he pleases after college.
