Dan McPherson

Date of birth: 7/6/1985
Dan McPherson is a junior music education and composition major. He graduated from Owasso High School where he studied percussion with Chris Barber. Dan made the Oklahoma All-State Band his junior and senior years. He currently studies percussion, piano, and composition with Dr. David Steffens, Claudia Carroll, and Dr. Edward Knight, respectively. Dan's compositions have been influenced by electronica music, Claude Debussy, and Ben Folds. For the time, Dan is unsure of where his studies in composition will lead.
