Stucky began music at age 5 when he started violin lessons with Dicksie Schmidt, then later under Dr. Mary Studebaker. He began piano with Joey Martin at 10, and then with Holly Stocks at 16. He gave up violin lessons to learn classical guitar, but ended up pursuing rock guitar. Choir has always been of a liking to Stucky under Judy Young, Ramona Frazier, Michelle Seymour, Marjory Malone, and Dr. Don Studebaker with whom he studied voice at Northeastern State University for a year during his senior year of high school. He now studies voice with Vickie Kelly at OCU. He has added the mandolin to his self-taught instruments and is currently working on riding a unicycle. He is a co-singer/songwriter for the group Up From Under, and would be more than happy if that turned into a real career. But on a more realistic note, he sees himself teaching.
